Jennifer Holt

As an experienced Psychotherapist, Jennifer Holt shares her expertise with students attending Althouse College at the University of Western Ontario. Having her Master’s Degree in Education (Counselling Psychology), plus years of clinical experience, makes Jennifer the perfect candidate for teaching like-minded students.

Adjunct Professor

In the Fall of 2013, Jennifer was once again an Adjunct Professor teaching Theories of Counselling in the M.Ed. (Counselling) program at Althouse College.

Adjunct Professor

From 2006-2011, Jennifer was an Adjunct Professor teaching Theories of Counselling and co-teaching the Group Counselling class in the M.Ed. (Counselling) program at Althouse College. With over a decade of group facilitation, Jennifer has much knowledge to pass on to her students.

Thesis Examiner

As a Thesis Examiner since 2006, Jennifer co-examines graduate level thesis for students at the University of Western Ontario.

Guest Lecturer

From 1999-2011, Jennifer enjoyed holding guest lectures for the Counselling and Diversity class at the University of Western Ontario. Topics included counselling for men who have engaged in abusive behaviours towards their intimate heterosexual partners, or who have engaged in sexually abusive behaviours.

From 2006-2011 Jennifer was a guest lecturer for the Trauma and Recovery class at the University of Western Ontario. She lectured about counselling for men who have engaged in sexually abusive behaviours and who have been victimized by sexual abuse themselves.

At Fanshawe College, London, Ontario, Jennifer taught the Introduction to Psychology.

Instructor

Jennifer instructed at King’s College, University of Western Ontario, co-teaching an experiential, one day seminar for the Communication with the Dying and Bereaved class.
