Jennifer Holt

M.Ed (Counselling), C.C.C., RP

Jennifer Holt is an established Psychotherapist with over two decades of experience in professional practice. She is qualified as an Expert Witness and graduated from The University of Western Ontario in 1998 with a Masters Degree in Education (Counselling Psychology).

Jennifer owns and operates the private practice, Holt Counselling & Consulting Services, located in Ontario.  Sessions occur through secure, confidential video or over the phone, thereby allowing for ease and convenience – no need to worry about weather impacting travel, having to find parking, or leaving work early to ‘squeeze’ in a counselling session in a client’s already busy schedule. Jennifer approaches her work  with her clients collaboratively, and she views the therapeutic process as a partnership with each individual client.

Prior to opening her private practice, Jennifer has had several job titles such as Counsellor, Manager, and Sex Offender Specialist. She has worked for non-profit agencies such as: Changing Ways – helping men end men’s violence against women and children; Womanpower Inc. – helping women find employment; and the Sexual Assault Centre of London (SACL) for female survivors of sexual assault.

As a teacher and guest lecturer, Jennifer regularly shares her knowledge and experiences with students at The University of Western Ontario, Althouse College, King’s College, and Fanshawe College.

Her accomplishments are numerous and varied, as are her affiliations with career related organizations and institutions.
